Available for online purchase up to 8mm diameter our AISI 316 7x7 stainless steel wire rope can be supplied in almost any length.
The 7x7 reference of this stainless rope refers to its construction. The rope is made up 7 strands with each strand containing 7 wires. When they are all twisted together the resulting wire rope offers strength and flexibility with a high breaking load strength. See specifications for more.
The 7x7 stainless rope offers more flexibility than the 1x19 rope but less than the 7x19 rope, with out 6x36 offering the most flexibility.
We sell this rope in diameters from 1.5mm up to 8mm directly online, however larger diameters up to 12mm are available on request. Each rope can be supplied in almost any length, typically up to 100 metres – the full coil! If you need your ropes terminated with specific rope fittings then we can do that too, simply get in touch or take a look at our wire rope assemblies page where you may find exactly what you need straight away.
There are many benefits to using stainless steel rope! Its corrosion resistance is top notch, thus used widely in the marine industry and water treatment areas.
